To Get a Cat or Not to Get a Cat? That is the Question

Stinking mouse scuttled right under my feet as I was using the comode. Scared a lot of things out of me that I won't mention on a public blog! Just wasn't expecting it. Anyway, I think it might be because of the store that is connected to our house--a little convenience store that I use at my convenience all the time! But, the mouse is not so convenient and I know more little relatives must be in tow. So, cat or no? What say ye?
