The Kindness of Others

Well, this is being typed by a sniffly mommy while backyardigans entertains the little ones who are eating cold pizza--yeah, that's nutritionally high quality food! Aside from me having a cold, Noah having an ear infection and Lucy throwing up three times last night, I woke up from a quick nap this morning to find Levi's diaper around his ankles and poop all over his legs. It's a good day!!

All this leads me to the fact that my current husband-less status has made me a high needs case and our congregation and friends have more than stepped up to the plate.

Yesterday, a family took the older two swimming while Noah and I napped. Then another friend came over with dinner, helped get the kids in bed and then was actually here when Lucy threw up the first time and helped me clean it up. And those two examples are just a handful of really awesome service acts done for us.

I am so humbled and inspired by all the acts of kindness shown to me and the kiddos. Christ is in the everyday kindnesses of others. Thank you everyone!
